Satpol PP Personnel Deployed to Assist Post-Flood Rehabilitation

Hundreds of Jakarta Pamong Praja Police (Satpol PP) deployed to do post-flood rehabilitation, especially that related to mud and garbage cleaning work.

Satpol PP Head, Arifin mentioned, Satpol PP will continue to assist people who are affected by flood.

"Satpol PP is actively restoring and returning the capital city into a clean and healthy city. More than 500 personnel deployed. Our commitment is to assist residents until its condition returns to normal," he asserted, Tuesday (1/7).

He explained, his main focus is cleaning the settlement that needs assistance. His side not only deploy Satpol PP personnel to help cleaning work, but also equipment and operational service vehicles, such as dump truck and patrol car.

"Local PPSU personnel also help us to lift up piles of collected garbage from the cleaning work," he mentioned.

According to him, Satpol PP is not only involved directly in environment rehabilitation after flood, but also in giving direct assistance to residents affected by flood in Rajawati and Pegadegan, Pancoran Sub-district.

"Hopefully, we can lighten their burden," he expressed.

For information, hundreds Satpol PP personnel clean up mud and garbage in Pejagalan Urban Village; RW 11 of Duri Kosambi Urban Village; RW 11 of Pengadegan Urban Village; Rawajati Urban Village; Jalan Industri I, II, and III of Gunung Sahari Utara; in front of Tongtek and RW 03, Kampung Melayu Urban Village; and SMAN 62 in Kramat Jati Urban Village.
